The Prison Pride

A pride of lions that live along the cliffsides in caves. They are nicknamed the prison pride because of their tradition of capturing intruders and putting them in special caves they call cells, deluding themselves into thinking the other creatures are prisoners who've committed crimes.

Bewaarder is ruthless and deluded into thinking his lions dispense justice on the wicked when in reality they are doing nothing of the kind. He's brutish and considers everyone guilty. He's your judge, jury and executioner.

Brides
All "Wardens" of the prison pride have multiple brides. Uzuri is the pretty one who produced the lovely perfect son Voltooi and the weak Nux. She's floaty, flowery and is in blissful almost insanely delusional about how fluffy her lot in life is. Ubongo is the smart one, the one who keeps trying to escape. But her genes are so well (she provided Bewaarder with his daughter Katili) she remains alive. She hates both Uzuri and Nguvu. Nguvu is a dumb brute, a lioness with absolutely no inteligent qualities to her. But she's a bloody tank.

Voltooi (Perfect)
Douchy and arrogant, Voltooi thinks he's the shit and despite being a cub will comically order about the older lionesses. He's a whiny little brat though and likes being carried everywhere by his mummy.

Children of the King
Nux is the weak one, the underestimated one. He was bitten by a snake as a cub and though its poison didn't kill him it made him very sick and weak. He's constantly trying to prove himself. Katili is an acid spitting harpy who speaks in rhyme because why not and she looooves torturing prisoners. Pyn is...silent. A killer who stalks his prey in the night. Nobody is sure whether this lion has said a word ever.
