The twins are sophisticated and quite independent. They rarely accept the leadership of anyone unless they personally feel bonded towards them. Common tricksters, they are chameleons, able to blend in and act as if friend when they really have no care for you. They may turn on you in a heartbeat if it's between their lives and yours. Their loyalty to each other is number one, however, prove to someone they can care for and a whole new side is revealed. Have a strong urge to help others but they are quite 'shy' to new people, not wanting to truly open up. They flaunt about and take pride in unnerving people with their brilliant stealth. They are virtually one being, they know their own words, actions, and thoughts immediately, their synchronicity is uncanny and it tends to throw many people off. Bloodthirsty and rancorous, it's best to not insult the twins, they remember for a very long time and will stop at nothing to enact revenge. Though they are quite passive, do not underestimate them.
History
Deep in a remote jungle, far denser and less welcoming than the one the lions may know, lies a clan of leopards. These leopards are far larger than normal leopards, proving capable of even killing gorillas. They are aggressive and territorial, chasing away all foes who oppose them. A leopard couple who dwelled within the clan birthed only two cubs. These cubs held the color of night itself upon their pelt and usually black leopards were taken as an omen among the clan, thus they weren't treated normally. It was a mystery whether the omen would be good or bad but nonetheless, they assumed the latter. These cubs were Nuru & Sheeta and they certainly were unique. One boy and one girl, they worked almost as one leopard, they could speak in unison and seemingly knew the thoughts of the other. They practiced this as young ones, constantly spooking the other leopards.
Though the clan still supported them, they usually remained on the outskirts, not joining in comfort or socializing, just having one another. At an early age, they realized it would be just them and they accepted it. Unlike most leopards, these leopards remained in a pride like setting, staying together rather than solo. Though once the twins were old enough to supply themselves, they rarely were around. Still welcomed inside the clan but they preferred their own company.
They stand out among their brethren, the onyx resonance they display stands out against the amber plains of the lion's domain. Within the jungle were shadow dwells, their pigment assisted them in night hunting, proving better than even the others. Because they lived in a jungle where the strongest of beasts dwelled such as snakes the size of trees, elephants, and gorillas, they had to learn quickly. The two made it apparent to polish their skills so they could rival the creatures in their home together, without the clan. This included constant training that was specific to them. They are quick and keen, with elegance to match. They aren't unfriendly, though, they tend to welcome many in their presence. Nuru and Sheeta roams a specific part of the jungle that they claim as theirs.

The air seemed to vibrate with sudden electricity. Smooth ebony fur ascended like quills along their shoulders, cruel malachite eyes glinted with malice. From the thick plumes of smog, they remained tucked among the shadows. From the gathering animals and the excitement, it was in their favor they were quickly discarded from attention. Thin elongated tails arched and tangled with one another in an affectionate manner. They were ready to strike, target in sight.
A sizable gorilla lumbered upon the scene and two pairs of green eyes snapped upon them in a manner that should strike fear into anyone. The twins were not as large as Scruffy, not even close. They impressive display came from their intricate movements and tactics. It was rare for their ‘dance’ to be witnessed; they hunted alone and are very solitary.
The metallic scent wafted into the air, the twins inhaled the appealing aroma with a crazed grin. From the rapid movements around the others, the neon green miasma dissipated and it was easy to see where that scent came from. Scruffy sounded like a giant quaking the world in her fury. The obese housecat’s limp body was saturated in mass amounts of blood, the fluid trickling like a steady steam. The color was like the blush of dawn and it was absolutely intoxicating.
Spines arched in pure bliss before they too decided to act out and ‘train’ if that’s what the kids would like to call it. Abyssal pelts glided across the terrain effortlessly; perhaps no one even realized they were there anymore. It was easy to lose track of the impish twins. Claws peaked from their enclosures, aching to sink into the flesh of anther. Their target was Tublat, a gorilla. Two terrifying shadows advanced toward the ape with a thrilled expression, paws uttering not a single sound even though it wouldn’t matter if it did. No one would even care to notice the missing jaguars, and it would take a highly trained eye to make out their abyssal pelts within the heavy fog.
Stealth was their number one ability, and this was the perfect area. Lips curled with bloodlust and eyes glinted in excitement. They skimmed the physique of Tublat and they cackled internally. Suddenly like a lightning strike, the twins launched forward. Sheeta aimed for the right foreleg, throwing her entire weight into the weak point upon it. Simultaneously Nuru threw his own mass upon Tublat’s back shoulder blades, merciless claws reaching forward to claw at its chest. If the maneuverer had landed successfully, Sheeta would snatch his stability from beneath him by attacking the legs while Nuru threw his entire balance off by slamming into his back and throwing himself forward. Tublat should topple stomach first and prone.
