((November 2nd, set in the late afternoon, early evening. Open to all who's around!))
Well, if the rains meant one thing, it meant that things were going to get a little bit easier then it usually was in the dry season. The water hole was filled up more then usual so the clan wouldn't have to ration it as much, and prey would likely be a bit more common to hunt in the barren wastes that were the Outlands. Hopefully. Katwa doubted that they would have any more luck compared to any other animal that lived out here, but they would likely make due.
The matriarch just lazily chewed on an old bone from some old kill as she stared out from the ledge that she was on. The clan was still somewhat active even at this time, moving around, playing, and whatever else they did. It was all fine to the older hyena, as long as they didn't start fighting or doing something stupid. It was a quiet evening, and that was the way that Katwa liked it.
But the hyena stopped when she heard a few rocks move behind her, and the occasional step approaching. With an annoyed look, Katwa stopped her bone chewing and raised her head up, the bone still in her mouth. It looked stupid, but she wasn't going to let the thing go.
"If you're trying to be sneaky, you gave yourself away." She said to whoever was behind her. She didn't even bother looking behind her to see who it was. "Unless it's something important, I hope you have a good reason to disturb your matriarch."
