Mrefucub was born to Windclan when the four clans of the plains were separated. Windclan were both diggers and hunters living on the high ground of the plains. Mrefucub didn't want to be a digger despite both parents being so. He wanted to run with the wind in his mane. Mrefucub tried to dig with his father alas an accident caused the leader to make him a hunting apprentice and not a digger. Angry, his father ignored him for a bit and his mother, aloof since his sister died at birth.
Mrefupaw was ready to be an apprentice and ready to fight for his clan when unfortunately, an accident involving a rogue named Hornbill claimed his father's life. The tunnels were shut down and Mrefupaw vowed revenge. He was then named Mrefutail but his anger simmered. Adventure and vengeance itching in every pawstep he left his clan and headed off after the rogues.
While out, Mrefutail got sick. Meeting a 'kittypet' or a lion who lived on a reserve named Jake, he was introduced to Twolegs, aka humans, who nursed him back to health. Once he was released, Jake followed him off of the reserve. Jake became Mrefutail's best friend...and love.
Seeking his revenge, learning his father died a hero saving Hornbill from a rock fall, and saying goodbye to his one true love, all shaped Mrefutail into what turned him into the leader Mrefustar. Leading his clan through battles, Mrefustar stood tall against the enemy lion that united the clans. He now sees himself as the voice of reason, often breaking up fights between the clans.
