-The pride members aren't oppressed or unhappy. They enjoy their existence mostly because they're deluded into thinking they're the justice bringers of Africa and are quite proud of this fact.
-Bewaarder isn't cruel to his subjects but the females and males for that matter get really really excited when he pays attention to them.
-The Prison Pride members have longer claws than normal because they need them to climb to their cavern homes.
-Bewaarder is proud of his children...well...every one except Nux who he sees as a mistake and often considers doing away with. But Voltooi likes his older brother so much that Bewaarder never actually kills the runty pale lion.
-The lions are mostly pale due to lack of sunlight because they've been walking in caverns.
-Bewaarder has recently become interested in the pridelands despite not giving a buck before because he heard of the crimes of Scar. He's perturbed that Simba didn't come get him to punish Scar as HE is the justice bringer of Africa!
-Bwana leads the hunt. The girls mostly hunt birds that nest along the cliffs but for large meals they'll go out and grab something. Usually they chase it to the ledge and the animal flings itself off, landing in the gorge and breaking its neck.
-Oddly enough, despite his gruff demeanor, Bewaarder always lets his cubs eat first...except Nux...
-The children of Bewaader & wardens before him who are not heirs are considered a step above the highest ranking officer once they come of age. To show their status as the king's children they wear necklaces made of bird bones.
-Where did all of these complex things come from? The jewelry, bars and other complex things were made by enslaved baboons and other monkeys and have just been maintained by the members of the pride.

-Bewaarder was the son of the previous Warden/King and always looked up to his father but thought he was too soft on "criminals." He did fight his father for control and his father died in a jail cell after Bewaarder won.
-Kuraka (male) is Chuma's son. His mother was killed in a stampede.
-Kidogo (female) looks up to her big sister Korokoni despite the two of them not being related.
-Pyn was born a few days apart from Katili making him third oldest. Pyn was a male but born of a bride who's intelligence was...let's say lacking...so Bewaarder was concerned the mute cub would grow up to be dumb. So he ignored the cub for a week or so before realizing he was killing mice and giving them to his mother. He was now useful in the eyes of the king because he could hunt so despite him not being as smart as Katili or Nux, he was still raised a royal child alongside them.
-Besides whispering to his sister and himself Pyn kept to himself leading to the rumor that he can't talk.
-When Nux got sick, Bewaarder turned his attention on Pyn but realized Pyn wasn't ready for being an heir. Pyn didn't mind. He just wanted a job. He was pretty much unconcerned with Nux's plight.
-Ubongo, since Ndugu was the last to be bed, spent five hours plus trying to get Bewaarder to pick someone else. He agreed but Bon-Bon's life came crashing down when Ndugu came back and told Bon-Bon that Bewaarder and her had been "playing a game." It was directly after this that Bon-Bon tried to escape for the first time.
-Ubongo tries hard to teach the male guards not to be assholes. It's tough because many of them are but she feels if she catches them young she'll be able to educate them.
-Ubongo made it her mission to track down and slaughter the snake that bit Nux. It was the only time she and Uzuri worked together as the two vowed to find and murder the snake. They sought it out and ate it alive.
---To keep Nux's head sharp while he was recovering from his snake bite, Ubongo would make him recite things such as ABC's, math and other stuff. Ubongo unfortunately knew he'd never be as strong as he used to be so she wanted to make sure he stayed smart. This caused a bit of friction between her and Uzuri because Uzuri was worried she was trying to take Nux away from her.
--When Nux was a cub prior to the snake bite he had a weird little crush on Ubongo and would bring her flowers and profess his love to her. Bewaarder found this hilarious.
--Nux is actually super protective of Ubongo and often will lash out at other pride members who speak ill of her.
--Nux is terrified of Katili because she's psychotic. When Ubongo gave birth to her, Nux was uber jealous and acted like a right baby about it until Katili one day beat the bejesus out of him. Now he avoids her.
---Bon-Bon hardcore ships anyone with Nux. She just wants him to be loved and if someone is kind to him once she's already planning their wedding. This ended in a very awkward incident between Korokoni & Nux. I'll let you fill that story in yourself XD
--Nux constantly harasses Bon-Bon to take him star gazing. Because they're not just "fireflies that got stuck in that big bluish black thing" to her he enjoys hearing what she thinks they are.
--Though the reason why isn't comical, Bon-Bon had to once dispose of a snake in Nux's cave when he grew into his mane. He still fears them greatly and he went shrieking to his Mom, Ndugu and Ubongo about it to which Bon-Bon went in and killed it. Nudugu ate it by the way. No sense in letting meat go to waste.
--Though he adores his mother Nux has come to see Bon-Bon as a second mother, the one he goes to for advice. When he finally does feel feelings for Nuka she's the one he's going to go to.
