History Born in the Da Falsis Deis pride, Delaney was a rather odd member of the pride from the start. She was born at least half the size of what she should have been, and as a result her parents thought she might not survive. Delaney defied the odds and not only survived, but proved to be a very healthy and energetic cub. As she grew, another trait was recognized by her pride sisters and the royal family. In spite of Delaney's small size, she was quite a strong lion and was capable of giving the other lions a run for their money when it came to training with them. Clearly, she was a force to be reckoned with and not a lioness to be underestimated.
When she reached adulthood, Delaney didn't grown all that much. She remained roughly half the size of the rest of the lionesses in her pride. Still, she was respected among her ranks for what she could do and how capable she proved to be as a result. She doesn't let comments about her size get to her, either. She's cool and casual about these things, and when those who would oppose her underestimate her, she proves ready to show what the others she's encountered have learned.
The onshore monsoon winds from the Indian Ocean, and altitude. The winds determine the onset of Kenya’s two rainy seasons, with the hot northeast monsoon or kaskazi blowing dry air in from the Persian Gulf.
The heaviest rains are later in April, May and June but there will be showers and the air will be humid. Animals will not have to work as hard to find lush grasses and plantlife!
